Broadway Unplugged 4 now available

Broadway Unplugged 4Broadway Unplugged 4 - Live At New York Town Hall 2007

Starring some of Broadway's best performers singing without amplification, the Broadway Unplugged concerts have turned into a religious pilgrimage for purists desperate for the sound of the naked human voice. Scott Siegel's lineup this year was the best yet, with highlights including Aaron Lazar's spell-binding opener "Something's Comin'," Bill Daugherty's mesmerizing "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat," Lorinda Lisitza's haunting "Surabaya Johnny," Marc Kudisch's galvanic rendering of "I Was Here" from Flaherty and Ahrens' The Glorious Ones, and an inspired pairing of heartthrobs David Burnham and Max von Essen singing "Who Will Love Me as I Am?" from the cult musical Side Show.
